Very spacious bed in the twin room, plus an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. Magnificent and incredible location in Dublin adjacent to the citycenter of Dublin and Next to canal / river. Also, central to the heart of Dublin's night life.

Michael
Excellent and great breakfast with lots of choice. Nice building and rooms with drinking water in the bedroom. Particularly good location, a few steps away from a jewish museum.

Sam
I stayed at Portobello for a gig, and it was the perfect location. Close to bus routes to the airport and city center. The room was comfortable with plenty of tea bags, biscuits, and a working TV. There was even a hairdryer and a trouser press. The breakfast was huge and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has character with its beautiful canal front location. A welcome respite from the soulless and the bland.
I recommend this hotel.

Rod
Very friendly staff, spacious rooms
1 uncomfortable bed (mattress out of order), a little noisy at the beginning of the night (above the pub)

Ruth
The very friendly atmosphere
Noisy at night

The rooms were a decent size and clean. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and easily accessible.
The noise level was quite high, especially at night, and made it difficult to sleep. The hotel also doubles as a nightclub, which was not mentioned clearly and was very misleading.
